There after he worked with filmmaker, Ashim Ahluwalia on ground breaking avant-garde cinema in Mumbai and has since gone on to produce & direct his own work.
Kabir seeks to explore media consumption, social engineering & the meta nature of filmmaking through his work.

From explicit broadcasts in art decor bedrooms to grimy shows in crumbling warehouses, Showdots is an unsettling, dizzying ride between reality and virtuality, taking you inside the the alluring yet desolate universe of cam models, cybersex and digital intimacy.
Showdots yields a stark portrait of our simulated contemporary reality and the gradual becoming of a virtual being.
