Charlotte Røhder Tvedt is a Documentary film Commissioner at the Norwegian Film Institute (2025–2028). She has worked within films since 1994, both as a producer, photographer and director. Known for her award-winning films “The Interview” (2006), “From Prison to Parliament” (2008), “Reunion” (2011), “Reconstructing a Family” (2012), the user generated “Between Us” (2017), and the interactive film project “15 Years Later” (15årsenere.no, fifteenyearslaterstories.com, 2022/2025). She studied documentary filmmaking at Lillehammer UC and international politics at the University of Oslo. From 2017 to 2022, she was the Head of Creative Documentary at the Norwegian Film School. She finds great joy in developing the documentary genre, from the quiet to the bold, and strives to make artistic documentaries accessible on any platform.
