Matěj Paclík is a film producer, director and founder of Breathless Films, a Prague-based production company. He produced Adam Martinec’s debut fiction feature Our Lovely Pig Slaughter, which premiered in the Crystal Globe Competition at Karlovy Vary IFF and received a Special Mention. His credits also include the short film Anatomy of a Czech Afternoon, winner of the Czech Lion and Czech Film Critics’ Award for Best Short Film, the short film Sugar and Salt, which premiered at San Sebastián IFF, and the documentary feature Bedwetter, awarded Best Camera at Ji.hlava IDFF. He is currently producing Foyer Europe, a time-lapse documentary about Belgrade, attending Daseinsanalytic Psychotherapeutic Training, and preparing his directorial debut short film The Golden Touch.
