Andreia Nunes is a film producer, professor, and co-founder of Wonder Maria Filmes, an independent company focused on bold, socially relevant fiction. She produced the award-winning short Um Caroço de Abacate (2022), by Ary Zara, internationally recognized and shortlisted for the 2024 Oscars®, and 18 Buracos para o Paraíso, by João Nuno Pinto, the first Portuguese film to pursue Green Film certification. She also produced Honeyjoon, by Lilian T. Mehrel, winner of the AT&T Presents: Untold Stories award at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. Andreia holds a degree in Cinema and Media Arts from Universidade Lusófona, was among the first participants in Portugal’s Green Consultants course, and took part in top industry programs such as the EAVE Producers Workshop 2024, Torino Film Lab, and MIDPOINT Institute.
