Cecilie Aspenes studied psychology at The University of Oslo, as well as film history at Lillehammer University College before entering The Norwegian Filmschool to be a trained producer.
Since 2000 Cecilie has been working in the Norwegian and Nordic film- and TV industry in the fields of development, production and post-production, aquisitions and marketing, and with top-up financing at Nordic financier; Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
She worked as producer for Scandi company Miso Film and for Norway ́s powerhouse Fantefilm, before joining the Norwegian Film Institute as film commissioner for feature film and TV-drama in 2021.
