Marketing strategist and TorinoFilmLab expert in the Audience Design field. Creative producer for shorts and documentaries. Lecturer at the international training workshops for fiction and documentary filmmakers.

Her carrier started at Wajda Studio and Wajda School in Warsaw where she worked for more than 10 years as the Head of PR, Festivals & Sales developing promotion and distribution strategies for shorts, features and documentaries including handling two Oscar campaigns for nominated short documentaries RABBIT A LA BERLIN and JOANNA.

Since 2015 Joanna has been working for Alphapanda, a European marketing agency for the film industry specialized in social media. Alphapanda’s expertise covers all areas of marketing and promotion, including strategy, social media campaigns, advertising, research and outreach. Alphapanda’s client list spans from Hollywood majors (20th Century Fox, Warner Bros) and European Film Awards to independent producers and distributors.

Joanna brings to Alphapanda her expertise in international PR and is the Head of Alphapanda’s Polish branch based in Warsaw. Her recent projects include EFA 2018 awarded animation ANOTHER DAY OF LIFE, Golden Bear winner TOUCH ME NOT (Berlinale ’18) and documentaries OVER THE LIMIT (IDFA ’17) and THE TRIAL. OLEG SENTSOV VS. RUSSIAN STATE (Berlinale ’17).

As the TorinoFilmLab expert in Audience Design, she was working on THE GUEST (Locarno’18), YALDA (premiere 2019), THE ORPHANAGE (premiere 2019), WILDLAND (premiere 2019), PELICAN BLOOD (in production) and many other TFL projects still in development.
