Mar Vila Barcelo is a Talent Executive at Short Circuit, the filmmaking hub in Scotland for new and emerging talent, where she works across development and production on the short and feature film schemes. She has over a decade of industry experience working across development, production, distribution and marketing. She is an editorial advisor and consultant for distributor SelectaVision and is currently developing her own slate of projects across film & TV. Previously, she was part of Hollywood’s talent and literary agency ICM Partners London team, working with writers, directors and producers in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Latin America and the US. She has held roles at Film London, Pure Grass Films and has worked in production in the UK and Spain in different capacities. She is a graduate of the UK’s National Film & Television School.
