Writer and director based in Warsaw. He is a graduate of Warsaw Film School and Wajda School of Film Directing in Warsaw. His previous short film Our Curse has been awarded at many international film festivals and was nominated for an Oscar Academy Award 2015 in the field of Documentary Short Subject. His next two films are already in the pre-production phase: a short fiction film Ondine and a feature documentary The Study of Chaos.

Animus

Animus is a story about a young bisexual man, Peter, who struggles with his own sexuality in the wake of becoming a father for the first time. He spends the last month before the delivery with his pregnant girlfriend Marta in their cottage house situated in the countryside, in the dense forest, close to the lake. Marta is focused completely on her pregnancy, dominated by pregnancy hormones. She meets regularly with her close circle of girlfriends to explore her femininity and connection with the nature. Peter feels he is set aside, loosing contact with his girlfriend. Incidental visit with Marta at the gay nudist beach recall his inner demons. He secretly tries to explore his sexuality, getting more and more addicted to websites offering cyber sex with random guys all over the world which fascinate him but at the same time bring him a feeling of disgust. He becomes obsessed with gay sex, looking for all sorts of stimulus to get rid of his sexual energy. In the meantime, he feels disquieting and unsafe atmosphere of the surrounding nature. Soon, he realizes that this area is inhabited by ancient demons, who are now starting to awake.
