Romain Compingt
Romain Compingt is the youngest graduate of the CEEA (European Conservatory of Audiovisual Writing).
POPULAIRE by Régis Roinsard (5 nominations at the 2013 César, Public Prize at COLCOA, as well as at the Tokyo French Film Festival & San Francisco International Film Festival), is his first work to be released on screens. He then co-wrote DIVINES with director Houda Benyamina, working also as Artistic collaborator on the film. DIVINES won the Golden Camera at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival and the 2017 César for the Best first film. The same year, Holy Fatma’s PLEASE LOVE ME FOREVER Romain co-wrote, won the award for Best short film at the Screamfest in Los Angeles. He collaborates again with Régis Roinsard for EN ATTENDANT BOJANGLES (2022) and signs the adaptation & dialogues of MAGNETIC BEATS, Vincent Cardona’s first film (SACD prize at 2021 Cannes Director’s Fortnight, Ornano Valenti Prize at Deauville film festival 2021, 3 nominations at the 2022 César).
Romain is also a consultant – LA FILLE DE BREST by Emmanuelle Bercot (2016), and TREAT ME LIKE FIRE by Marie Monge (2018 Cannes Directors’ Fortnight), among others – and a playwright for Tutu, a contemporary dance show by Philippe Lafeuille (Public Prize – Avignon 2015).
Tony Grisoni
Tony Grisoni worked in many different areas of film making before turning to screenwriting. QUEEN OF HEARTS (1989) was his award winning first feature directed by Jon Amiel.
He has worked closely with a number of directors including Michael Winterbottom (IN THIS WORLD – 2002, winner of the Berlinale Golden Bear), John Boorman, Sean Durkin (SOUTHCLIFFE – 2013) and Marc Munden and has co-written with Terry Gilliam (FEAR & LOATHING IN LAS VEGAS – 1998, TIDELAND – 2005 and THE MAN WHO KILLED DON QUIXOTE – 2018.) RED RIDING (2009) was a TV trilogy adapted from the David Peace Yorkshire Noir novels. Directed by Julian Jarrold, James Marsh and Anand Tucker. THE UNLOVED (2009) was Samantha Morton’s directorial debut which won BAFTA – Best TV Single Drama. Tony is also writer and executive producer on a number of projects including THE YOUNG POPE (2016) by Paolo Sorrentino starring Jude Law, and THE CITY & THE CITY (2018), a 4-part BBC 2 drama based on the novel by China Mieville.
Tony has collaborated with artists including, Brian Catling, Oona Grimes, Dryden Goodwin and Marcia Farquhar. Tony has also written and directed a number of short films including the BAFTA nominated KINGSLAND #1 The Dreamer (2008), SYNCING featuring Peter Capaldi (2009), the award winning THE PIZZA MIRACLE (2010) and THE SANDS OF VENUS (2019).
Lucile Hadzihalilovic
Her debut mini-feature LA BOUCHE DE JEAN-PIERRE premiered in Un Certain Regard in Cannes in 1996. In 2004, INNOCENCE received the awards for Best Film in San Sebastian in 2004, Best film and Best Photography in Stockholm Film Festival. EVOLUTION (co-written with Alanté Kavaïté) picked up the Special Jury Prize in San Sebastian in 2015, and Best director award at Dublin film festival. Her latest film EARWIG (co-written with Geoff Cox) received the Special Jury Prize in San Sebastian in 2021.
Additionally, Lucile has directed the short films GOOD BOYS, NECTAR and DE NATURA.
She edited and produced Gaspar Noe’s CARNE and I STAND ALONE and is also his production partner in the company Les Cinémas de la Zone.
She has been a consultant at La Femis and in different workshops such as Sarajevo and Berlinale talent campus, and she has contributed to the writing of Gaspar Noe’s ENTER THE VOID.
Vinca Wiedemann
As film commissioner at the Danish Film Institute and artistic director of New Danish Screen, she was responsible for granting development and production support to numerous feature films and was instrumental in the rise of Danish cinema.
Vinca is an internationally esteemed script consultant and story supervisor for directors such as Lars von Trier who collaborated closely with her on his scripts for MELANCHOLIA and NYMPHOMANIAC. She is now working with Thomas Vinterberg on his first TV series.
She was Director of The National Film School of Denmark for five years, serves internationally as member of think tanks, film juries, keynote speaker and as a tutor and lecturer on artistic collaboration and film issues linked to the development process, innovation, education, and film policy.
Antoine Le Bos
Antoine was coming from a previous life in sailing and philosophy when he graduated from C.E.E.A in Paris. He first directed short films and on-stage experiments, before signing or co-signing around 25 feature scripts for independent filmmakers.
He won the Gan Foundation Price as a writer in 2005, created Le Groupe Ouest in Brittany in 2006, which has become N°1 place in Europe for the coaching of writers in residency. He’s been closely collaborating with TorinoFilmLab since 2007 and has been tutoring for NFDC Lab (India), TFL (Italy), Biennale College (Venice), Moulin d’Andé (France), Maïa Workshops, Doha Film Institute, and many others. With Le Groupe Ouest, he has created the Cross Channel Film Lab experience, and in 2015 launched LIM | Less is More.
He is LIM Artistic Director, as well as the mentor of LIM’s « Development angels » all year long.
